TOP STORY: Arsenal interested in Isak, Olise

Arsenal are interested in a double swoop for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak and Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise this summer, reports the Guardian.

Manager Mikel Arteta is reported to be looking to bolster his attack for next season, with the two Premier League stars emerging as two “primary” options.

It is believed that a move for the 24-year-old Isak could require an offer worth £100 million to persuade the Magpies to part ways with him, with the Gunners having already scouted the Sweden international before he completed his move to St. James’ Park from Real Sociedad in 2022.

Olise is another star who is reported to have impressed Arsenal’s scouts, and it looks as though he is one of the first names under consideration as they look to acquire a winger.

The 22-year-old has been in form for the Eagles of late, having contributed to eight goals across his last eight games, though it is said that there could be competition for his signature from multiple clubs including Manchester City and Manchester United.

A £65m release clause in his contract at Selhurst Park is set to become active in the summer.
